Ok, we know the catalog is not much fun to read. But, you're not alone in the quest to get it all straight! Your advisor will help you develop short and long-range academic plans.
Who will be your advisor? Beginning freshman (with 24 or fewer semester hours) and all General, Pre-Nursing, and unclassified students are advised in the University College Academic Advisement Center. Freshman Honors students are advised by Honors advisors. Once you have declared a major and have earned 24 or more semester hours, you are advised in your major department/school.
New freshmen will meet with an advisor during Preview, the mandatory freshman summer orientation and registration program.
New transfers will meet with an advisor while participating in the Transfer Day Program.
