Undergraduate Student (Freshman, Transfer, Second Bachelor's, Former Illinois State Student, or Summer Visitor)

If you are seeking an undergraduate degree you will need to utilize the 2008-2009 Undergraduate Application for Admission/Readmission

Graduate Student

If you have at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and wish to pursue a master's or doctorate degree or if you are a former Illinois State University graduate student, you will need to complete the Graduate Application for Admission/Readmission.

In addition, if you are applying at the doctoral level you must have three doctoral recommendations submitted on your behalf. Applicants to the School Psychology PhD. program must submit three recommendation forms specialized for the School Psychology PhD. program rather than the doctoral recommendation form listed above.

Graduate applications for admission are accepted for most programs for the summer and fall semesters. You are encouraged to submit an application as soon as possible as application deadlines are assessed on a daily basis and may be implemented at any time.

International Student

An international student is anyone who is neither a U.S. citizen nor a U.S. permanent resident. This category includes international students at all levels (undergraduate and graduate). In order to apply for admission, you can download the Acrobat PDF file containing the application, information page, and declaration of finances or apply online.

Adult Learner

If you will be 25 years of age or older prior to the first day of classes, you may be admitted as an unclassified student. This is a non-degree seeking category and may prohibit you from taking certain courses or receiving financial assistance. Be sure you read the information on page 2 of the admissions application before submitting this form.

New Start

If you are a former Illinois State University student who left in a degree program with less than a 2.0 grade point average, you may be eligible to return and begin with a new grade point average calculated from the point of re-entry. Restrictions applying to your eligibility to re-enroll through this program appear on the application.
