Ja'Niah DowningI graduated from ISU with a degree in Exercise Science and began working in the Office of Admissions in August 2007. As an undergraduate, I played football and was a member of numerous clubs and organizations.
I really enjoy my position as an Admissions Counselor. There are few opportunities in the world that allow you to positively interact with so many people. I travel to many high schools and community colleges and speak with students, parents, and other counselors about what Illinois State University is all about. I am very proud to work for my Alma Mater, and I look forward to speaking with you in the future.

Lindsay Vahl I started my career in the Office of Admissions as a student and knew right away helping students find their way to college was my calling.
As a first generation college student, I understand that the college selection process may be an intimidating experience. This is why I love my job. Marlon Snipes I have worked for Illinois State University for nine years, but was born and raised in the city of Chicago. My job is to inform prospective students about what the University has to offer.
I enjoy educating first generation students and those from traditionally underrepresented groups to help ensure equal college access.
