Before Your Bachelor's

The ELI can help you prepare for a bachelor's degree program. If you meet all other admissions requirements, but your TOEFL or IELTS scores are too low, you may be admitted to the University on the condition that you attend courses at the ELI at your own expense. Before starting a degree program, you must improve your English proficiency to the level required to be successful. Learn more about undergraduate admissions requirements.

International Student Perspective

I studied in the English Language Institute. They help you a lot. They teach you not just English, but how to be here as a student in many ways and that's important. How to prepare a speech or write a paper because every country is different.

Statement of Financial Support

You must show you have financial resources to pay for each semester you plan to study in the English Language Institute. The Statement of Financial Support is attached to the application form. This form must be signed by your financial sponsor unless you will be supported by an institution, government agency, or foundation. In that case, a letter from the agency that shows you will receive the resources to study at the ELI is sufficient.

Academic Records

Though this is not required, you may submit transcripts from other schools you attended to help us understand your current English language skills and areas in which you may need special attention.

English Language Exam

If you taken the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) your score may help us assess your current skill level. Neither of these tests are required for admission to ELI, but you should enter your score on your application if you know it.

Passport

Please send a copy of your passport to ensure that we have the correct spelling of your name.
