Your academic profile, your family's finances, and many other factors determine the scholarships and financial aid for which you qualify.
To apply for financial aid, submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. The Illinois State University school code is 001692. Our preferential filing date is March 1. If you apply by this deadline, you will receive your award notice in early April. You can check your financial aid status online in Welcome2isu or once you have registered for courses using iCampus.
The Financial Aid Office will assist you if you have questions about your FAFSA, the financial aid process, or your award.
Our Scholarship Resource Office posts scholarship information and application deadlines. Also, many departments, programs, and schools at Illinois State have limited
scholarship or tuition waiver funds. Visit your intended program’s Web site to
learn more.
If you are transferring from a community college earning your Associate of Art or Science degree with a 3.5 GPA or greater, you may qualify for the Community College Transfer Scholarship.
