  • Official transcript from each college or university attended

If you have less than 24 completed semester hours at the time you apply:

  • High school transcript
  • Official ACT or SAT scores
  • GED scores (if non-high school graduate)

Application Deadlines

Illinois State's preferred filing period for transfer students for the fall 2010 term is September 1 – January 1.You are encouraged to apply early in the preferred filing period for best consideration for admission into competitive majors. 

If you apply and submit all required documents during the preferred filing period, you will have the opportunity to participate in advanced course registration. If you apply after the preferred filing period, you may be admitted as space permits on a rolling basis.

Applications are considered incomplete until all necessary documents, including transcripts, have been received. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

*Spring admission for freshman standing transfer students (fewer than 24 semester hours completed at the time of application) is limited. You may be offered admission on a case-by-case basis as space permits.
