Visit
As you are facing Bone Student Center from the parking lot, you will see an outside staircase to your far left. You will need to go up that staircase. This will take you to an overpass across College Avenue. As you come off the overpass and onto the Quad, Hovey Hall will be the third building on your left. The Admissions Office is in room 201. Be sure to check in at the front desk and let the receptionist know you have arrived.
The Office of Admissions is located in Hovey Hall on the corner of North and School Streets. Visitors are encouraged to park in the Bone Student Center visitor parking lot on Locust Street. The parking lot is a 5-minute walk to Hovey Hall and is connected to the heart of campus by a convenient pedestrian crosswalk.
Parking validation is available for this lot from the Office of Admissions for students participating in campus information sessions, special programs, or meetings with an Admissions representative.
Open House Visitors: Please proceed to Braden Auditorium, Bone Student Center, rather than Hovey Hall, upon your arrival for an Open House.
If you're using an online mapping site (Yahoo Maps, Map Quest, Google Maps, etc.), you will want to use the following address as your destination: 100 North University Street, Normal, Illinois 61761
Exit Interstate 55 South at the Normal-Business 51 exit (#165). The exit ramp will take you to a stoplight, where you will turn left (south) onto Main Street. Continue traveling on Main. As you near the Illinois State campus, you should watch for, and continue past, stoplights at Raab Road, Orlando Avenue, and Gregory Street. The next stoplight will be at Willow and Main Streets. Turn left here. Go two blocks to Normal Avenue and turn right. Gates for the Bone Student Center parking lot, where you should park, will be directly in front of you.
