Schedule

Please take a moment to read the session descriptions for the Open House program. Attendance for each session is voluntary, so feel free to choose from among this list of activities to create your own schedule of events. You will notice that financial aid sessions, tours of campus, and residence hall tours are offered at numerous times throughout the day. Please choose a time that is convenient for your family. 8-9 a.m. - Residence Hall Video
Circus Room, Bone Student Center
In addition to the residence hall tours, we provide you the opportunity to view a residence hall video which highlights all the areas on campus and gives you a picture of what residence hall living is really like. The video will run continuously and lasts approximately 12 minutes.

9-10 a.m. - Main Program
Prospective Freshman Students - Braden Auditorium, Bone Student Center
Transfer Students - Old Main Room, Bone Student Center

Everyone is encouraged to attend. A video presentation, student panel, and an overview of the admission and selection process will be provided.

10-10:45 a.m. - Financial Aid Session
Prairie Room, 2nd Floor, Bone Student Center
Find out everything you need to know about financial aid deadlines, the FAFSA, online resources, services offered by the Scholarship Resource Office, and more.

10-11:30 a.m. - Academic and Student Services Fair
Brown Ballroom, Bone Student Center
Academic advisors, faculty, and staff will be available to answer questions regarding coursework, career, internship, and research opportunities. All of our academic majors will be represented as well as Admissions, Financial Aid, University Housing Services, and many other offices.

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Residence Hall Video
Circus Room, Bone Student Center
In addition to the residence hall tours, we provide you the opportunity to view a residence hall video which highlights all the areas on campus and gives you a picture of what residence hall living is really like. The video will run continuously and lasts approximately 12 minutes.

10 a.m. - 2:30 pm - Campus Tours
Braden Auditorium (east entrance), Bone Student Center
Student-led walking tours of campus will be available continuously throughout the day. These tours last approximately 20-30 minutes. Campus tours do not include a residence hall tour. These are held separately at each hall.

10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Residence Hall Tours
Reception Desk of Atkin-Colby Halls
Tours of these residence halls will be available continuously throughout the day. These residence hall tours last approximately 20 minutes and are available upon arrival. To assist you in finding your way, a campus map is included in the materials you received as you arrived at Braden Auditorium for today's main program. Furthermore, University Housing Services will be represented during the Academic and Student Services Fair to answer your housing questions.

11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Financial Aid Session

Noon-1:00 p.m. - Lunch (on your own)
You are welcome to dine in any of the restaurants in and around the Bone Student Center.

1-2 p.m. - Departmental Showcases
Several academic departments will provide an opportunity to explore their programs more in depth and see their facilities.
